I always like the feeling of someone asking me where I got my gowler when I head into a brewery for a refill. Clocking in at 29 breweries, San Francisco is currently one of the country's most happening hubs for craft beer. In addition, the Bay Area boasts a deep brewing history thanks to forerunners like Anchor Brewing that paved the way for the modern day craft beer movement we see today.
PintPass hosted 8+ breweries providing 80+ beers for a Gloves Off Beer Tasting. Everyone who came participated as a judge and individually scored their blind taste tests to help determine the winners in each category. *This was a fun event with 83 people signed up as judges. The judges were made up of professional brewers, home brewers, craft beer enthusiasts, and avg. joe beer drinker.
The 2016 Gloves Off Beer Tasting event was a sucess thanks to all the great breweries that participated and all who attended. Everyone at the event was a judge and picked the beer styles they wanted to taste and score. After totaling all the scores we have compilied a list of the different winners for each beer style.
