These Our Some of Our Favorite Austin, TX Craft Beer Spots

If you have ever been to Austin – you know it’s nearly impossible to be bored there no matter what you do. Music fans can enjoy the almost endless stream of live music that comes into town at a huge myriad of music venues. Foodies can eat some really really ridiculously good food. But craft beer lovers can have fun too. In recent years – Austin has had a huge influx of breweries and restaurants that take pride in serving really freaking great beer. We wanted to take some time and give a shout out to some of our favorites!

Strange Land Brewery – PintPass Member Brewery

5904 Bee Cave Rd, Austin TX 78746

Sometimes all you need is a delicious beer – poured by someone that knows what they’re talking about. That’s what you will get at Strangeland – where they boast about serving, “The beer less traveled.” Each of their 5 flagship brews have their own specific story that if you’re lucky you might be able to hear it straight from one of the brewers. They don’t have a food menu – but Hat Creek Burger Company is in the same parking lot -so that makes deciding what’s for dinner easier.

Workhorse bar

100 E. North Loop #B, Austin, TX 78751
Workhorse bar has no frills, no gimmicks. Just some really good drinks and food. They don’t brew their own beer but with 35 taps they have an incredible cast of rotating beers including local Austin favorites. They also feature craft cocktails that come loaded with depth of flavors without any of the pretentious undernotes that you might get at some craft cocktail bars.

Adelbert’s Brewery – PintPass Member Brewery

2314 Rutland Dr #100, Austin, TX 78758

This microbrewery has been around since 2011. They aim for high-quality beer using nothing but quality ingredients and dedicated brewers. They promise to use, “Non-GMO Bohemian floor malted barely, Noble hops, and fresh yeast propagated at the brewery.” This pride in ingredients spills over into the rest of the brewing process and they produce some truly spectacular beers.Good luck picking the Lemon Rye, Mango Wit or Hibiscus Saison.

Texas Saké Company – PintPass Member Brewery

5501 N Lamar Blvd, Austin, TX 78751
You won’t find much like the Texas Sake Company really anywhere. They claim to be the first organic Saké Kura in North America and the first maker of saké from Texas rice. You won’t find much in the vein of craft beer – but you will find an owner with a passion for craft saké. Each batch is crafted with a specific taste in mind. Keep an eye on their Facebook – they are constantly announcing fun going-ons at their establishment such as comedy nights.

Pinthouse Pizza

4729 Burnet Road Austin, TX 78756
4236 S. Lamar Blvd. Austin, TX 78704

Great craft beer and really really good food. This simple, winning combination is what Pinthouse Pizza was founded on and continues to be the cornerstone of both of their locations. They try to use sustainable, local and organic ingredients as much as they can. They do a fantastic job of updating their “Live Tap Feed” on their website so make sure you check it out if you are looking for a specific brew on your way in. Whether you want a traditional pepperoni pie or are locked in on the more extravagant “Honey Pear” pizza – you really can’t go wrong. Pair it with one of their salads and you have a meal perfect for anyone.

At each turn in this city you will be able to enjoy a different puzzle piece of culture that makes Austin the city that people love to come back to year after year. Its locals are proud – and if you make a trip you will be met with the same hospitality that they would show their own family.
