St. Patrick’s Day is undoubtedly craft beer lovers’ favorite holiday. From the green beer to the Irish fare, there are plenty of reasons to get together with friends & family to celebrate. We put together a list of craft breweries that are planning to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in style this weekend. Sláinte!
Chicago — Haymarket Brewing
If you find yourself in Chicago’s West Loop, you’ll want to check out the St. Paddy’s Day Parade Pre-Gaming event at Haymarket Pub & Brewery. They open at 9 a.m. CST tomorrow & have an awesome breakfast menu. They’ll also be serving corned beef sandwiches as a special all day — with Irish stout mustard, pickled onions, slaw & chips. Grab some authentic Irish food & their Crowley’s Irish-American Stout before heading to the Loop to catch the Chicago St. Patrick’s Day Parade. If you can’t get enough of Haymarket, come back at 8 p.m. for live ‘90s covers.

St. Louis — Urban Chestnut Brewing Company
Although they have a Bavarian heritage, they like to pretend that they’re Irish once a year. Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day a little differently this Sunday at Urban Chestnut Brewing Company’s Grove Brewery & Bierhall. They’ll be showing all of the films from the “Leprechaun” series & serving tasty Irish food. From 7-10 p.m. — jam out to Celtic rock while sipping on their O’Florian’s Irish Dry Stout or their Kinsale Foreign Extra Stout.

New York — Coney Island Brewery
Escape the craziness of Manhattan this weekend by heading to Coney Island Brewery’s Shamrock Shindig 2019 tomorrow between 2 p.m. & 8 p.m. EST. They’re hosting a special St. Patrick’s Day potluck, so bring a dish to share & you’ll get $2 off their pints. If you’re feeling lucky, you can give their prize wheel a spin to win one of many festive prizes. As far as filling your glass goes, we recommend trying their malty Merman IPA & dry-hopped Coney Island Lager.

Boston — Cheeky Monkey Brewing Co.
We can’t think of a better place to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day weekend than next to Fenway Park in Boston. Cheeky Monkey Brewing Co. is one of the stops on the LepreCon Alley St. Paddy’s Pub Crawl — the top-rated St. Paddy’s Day pub crawl in the Fenway area — and they’ll be offering an exclusive green craft beer made by their top brewer. Head on over at noon EST tomorrow for delicious craft beer, games & bites. For suds, their creamy Rebellious Monk Stout & piney Down Undah Pale Ale are the way to go.
